Young talent, is it worth it?

Not every company would take a chance on a young 21 year-old, who wants to start her working life in such a competitive industry as language services. This was my case, it was not luck, it was dedication, perseverance and something that is very important, the understanding Barbier has regarding the importance of young talent, providing opportunities and analyzing how it can affect, for better or worse, that opportunity.

Being young doesn’t mean I’m not capable, I’ve learned so much from my DMs and co-workers. I provide new solutions, I use technology to our advantage and none of this would have been possible without having the support Barbier has given me from day one.

Experience is given by time, but the maturity of every person depends on himself/herself, this is something that not only I have noticed, I have been a Jr. Designer, then Sr. Designer and now? Now I’m Translations Jr. Project Manager. It has been a pleasure to grow within a company where they were the first ones to believe in me. I have grown professionally and above all personally. I am more dedicated, responsible, organized and courageous, things that I’ve learned and admired from the executive team.

It’s not only about making sure the work is done excellently, but also about empowering the workers and believing in them, and Barbier understands this perfectly.
